Once a year, we get to experience one of the best holiday: Christmas. It’s a time spent with family and friends alike, exchanging gifts with one another to celebrate the time together with eachother. However, while we all experience the gift of giving to each other, people wonder what kind of weather is better for this enjoyable time? Well, I believe that colder weather is the most optimal choice.
Think about this scene for a moment: sitting inside and bundling up under a blanket because of the chill inside your house. Next to you is your partner/friend as you both relax on the couch, sipping on hot chocolate. It’s late at night, but your fun is just starting. The warmth of the blanket you’re cocooned in overtakes your body as you relax, Home Alone is playing on the TV in front of you.
The scenario I just described sounded nice, right? Well, that kind of environment, vibe, feeling, or whatever you want to call it, is only achievable in cold weather. The cold air that stabs at you when you’re outside might seem rough, but that rush you get when you run in the house and the warmth inside heats you up and takes away the cold.
Now, while the cold may seem nice because of the way I’m describing it, some people prefer the warmer weather because it creates better opportunities to have fun with friends outside. However, the majority of things that can be done outside during Christmas time are all inside activities as well, due to outside businesses not expecting to have any visitors considering the time of year. So, cold weather makes that inside fun more enjoyable because of how you warm up after the cold weather hits you.
Let’s review: Cold weather makes for a more cozy vibe, there’s no reason to not do activities when the weather is cold, and colder weather makes a great excuse to stay inside and enjoy your time. All-in-all, cold weather makes for a wonderful time to get cozy and have fun inside. So, what does that mean? You should get cozy by the campfire this Christmas and have some fun with the cold!
