Amanda Thompson is the new agriculture teacher, and she has been teaching for eight years. Thompson has always been passionate about agriculture, and it inspired her to teach the next generations because she saw how many people had misconceptions on the subject. Her favorite thing about teaching at Central Heights is that she enjoys teaching with Meagan Ezzell and Edward Gibson because it is nice for her to have teaching partners that will work with each other to take ideas and turn them into realities. Thompson would like to see the FFA program host an in-person LDE (Leadership Development Event) Contest, and for some of the clubs to team together for certain events.
