It has officially been 100 days since the beginning of the 2025-2026 school year. As a result, the new year has come with new changes. Here’s a quick recap of all that’s changed in Central Heights High School this year.
Texas kicked off the year with a statewide no-phone policy. This was very controversial as many students disliked the idea of not being able to use their phones during school hours. On the other hand, it allowed for more socialization between students by encouraging different forms of entertainment to be used. Either way one views it, there’s been some positives that have come with this new policy.
Another big change to Central Heights this year was the new lunch lines. Though it’s still undergoing some finishing touches, the revamped lunch line was a big improvement. It has introduced a new menu with options never seen before at CHHS. Students can all agree that this change was a major success.
Of course, every year comes with new additions to the staff. From basketball coaches to theatre directors, several departments got new members. This change has brought an all new set of medical classes for students to take, along with the new Health Occupations Students of America club. The theatre room even got a complete makeover as well.
These improvements have changed CHHS for the better. It’s safe to say there will be more great changes in the future.
