We have finally finished the fifth six weeks, and we are nearing the end of the road of the 2025-26 school year. Some of us students are on our way to being sophomores, some almost juniors, some almost seniors, and some almost graduates! Even though summer is approaching and we are all excited, we should remember to stay persistent in our academics. It is important not to slack off on tests and homework assignments, because grades still matter. They could potentially matter the most when it comes to GPA and class ranking.
We are sailing into the summer break, which means soon we will have time to be ourselves and be free from school. We can focus on our hobbies and finally prioritize something other than school.
As a junior in high school right now, it is easy for me to focus on the negative things that may be coming my way, like AP tests or SATs. However, let us remember that as we close this school year strong, we should stay positive in these present moments because this is the only time we will be high schoolers! Let us make the most of it!
